Create a Wallet automation Automations allow you to automatically move users to different campaigns and send notifications based on triggers like dates, events, or targeting criteria. Before you start You need to have at least two campaigns created to set up automations. If you are in a campaign construction, this step comes after creating it. It constitutes the programming of the campaign. π Discover the different automation typesYou can create three types of automation rules: Move & Notify: Move users to a new campaign and send them a notification Send notification: Send a notification without moving users to a different campaign Move: Move users to another campaign without sending a notification π‘ Most common automation scenarioThe classic scenario done by brands is this one: Start my campaign with a move and a notify β send a notify as a reminder or a last call β finish with a move (to the generic card).Black Friday operation [Campaign tab] I've created a dedicated campaign named black-friday-26 [Automation tab] Friday 27/11 at 8am, I move all my customer on my campaign black-friday-26 + notify them "BLACK FRIDAY, visit our stores and website to discover our offers" [Automation tab] Friday 27/11 at 7pm, I notify them "BLACK FRIDAY: the offer continues this weekend!" [Automation tab] Sunday 29/11 at 7pm, I move back them on the campaign named generic (which is my generic card) π‘ Good to know In this type of operations, always program the move back before the campaign expiration date. It will not be done automatically. Automations can of course be configured individually if necessary. π Create a move & notify automationThis automation moves users to a new campaign and informs them with a notification.Step 1: Create the automation Go to the Automation tab and click Create a rule. Select Move and Notify. Follow the instructions corresponding to the type of notification you want to create: π Apple Wallet notification π Google Wallet notification Choose the destination campaign. Enter the notification text (maximum 150 characters). Click Validate. Choose the destination campaign. Enter the notification text (maximum 1000 characters). (Optional) Add a link so that when users click the notification, they are redirected to this link instead of the wallet card. Click Validate. Step 2: Configure the triggerChoose when the automation should run: Absolute date [most used] Select a specific date and time for your automation to run once. Recurrent date Select if your automation is recurrent (daily, weekly, monthly) and define the recurrence pattern. Event Link your automation to a specific trigger event. Some basic triggers are available. Additional custom triggers can be developed. Step 3: Select the targetChoose who will be affected by the automation: βοΈ Campaign Target all users on selected campaign(s). Check the Not on campaign(s) above box to target all users, except the ones in the selected campaign(s). π Target file Upload a CSV file with specific user IDs you want to target or exclude. β‘οΈ To learn more, check our dedicated article Import a target file for Wallet automation. π¬ Store Target all users linked to specific store(s). Step 4: Finalize the automation Give a name to the rule. Click Validate. Your move and notification automation is now ready.π Create a send notification automationThis automation sends a notification without moving users to a different campaign. This is useful for reminder notifications or boost notifications. Go to the Automation tab. Click Create a rule. Select Send notification. Insert the notification text. Define the trigger (absolute date, recurrent date, or event). Select the target (campaign, target file, or store). Give a name to the rule. Click Validate. β‘οΈ Create a move automationThis automation moves users to another campaign without sending a notification. βοΈ Important Always schedule a Move back to the initial campaign before the campaign end date to avoid leaving users on an expired campaign. Go to the Automation tab. Click Create a rule. Select Move campaign and click Next. Choose the destination campaign. Define the trigger. Select the target. Give a name to the rule. Click Validate. ποΈ View your automation rulesAfter creating rules, you can view a summary of all rules in chronological order in the Automation tab.
