Monitor your Wallet performance using dashboards and data The Wallet platform provides several dashboards and reporting views to help you monitor your wallet performance and track key metrics. Learn how to access and interpret the data across the different dashboard views available in the Wallet platform.ποΈ Wallet dashboards overviewPerformance tracking is available in several views within the Captain Wallet platform: Project dashboard: provides a global view of your project's activity Campaign dashboard: displays performance metrics for a specific campaign Account dashboard: shows activity across all projects in your account (multi-project view) Reporting section: provide access to an overview of activity by campaign, a list of all campaigns, and the option to generate exports. βΉοΈ About the Wallet dashboardsπ Time period selectionMost dashboards allow you to select different time periods to analyze your data: Last 7 days Last 30 days Last 3 months Last 6 months Last 1 year Custom Date The time period selection affects how data is aggregated in graphs and the calculation of growth metrics.π Key definitions to understand Wallet metricsπ€ User status Active user: a user with at least one installed card Inactive user: a user with no installed cards πͺͺ Card statesCards move through different states during the user lifecycle: Created: the user clicked the wallet call-to-action, and the card was generated on the platform (no active card in the wallet at this stage) Downloaded: the card was downloaded to the user's device, but not yet installed Installed: the card is installed on one or more devices, and the user becomes active (The customer can therefore be notified, and their card can be updated) Deleted: the card is removed from one or more user devices Uninstalled: the card is deleted from all user devices, and the user becomes inactive π EventsThe platform tracks three main events: Card created: a card was generated for a user Card installed: a card was installed for the first time by a user Card deleted: a card was uninstalled by a user (the user becomes inactive) Asynchronous indicatorsSome metrics are marked as [ASYNC], meaning they are calculated in the background every 2 minutes rather than in real-time. This improves dashboard performance, especially for accounts with large volumes of data. π° VendorTo associate the platform (vendor) with a user, we take the vendor of their first active pass.ποΈ Project dashboard metrics Total users [ASYNC]Number of unique active users to date. Total users by platform [ASYNC]Number of active users by vendor (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet). The vendor is determined by the user's first active pass. Total users by loyalty status [ASYNC]Number of active users broken down by loyalty status (if set up on the project). Customer growth in volume [ASYNC]Active users today minus active users at the beginning of the selected period (7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or custom date). Customer growth in percentage [ASYNC]Formula: (Active users today - Active users at start of period) / Active users at start of period Total users by platform - graph [ASYNC]Visual representation of active users by platform over time: 7 and 30-day periods: daily breakdown 3 and 6-month periods: weekly breakdown 1-year period: monthly breakdown (end of month) Card creation and installationNumber of cards created and installed over time, displayed with the same time breakdown as in 6. NotificationsNumber of notifications sent during the selected time period (including all notifications, whether one-time or automated) π³ Campaign dashboard metrics Total users [ASYNC] Total number of active users to date, on this campaign, and by vendor. Total retargeted users Number (total and by vendor) of unique users who are active (or have been active) from a previous campaign and targeted by the campaign (cannot decrease). Total enrolled users Number (total and by vendor) of active users (or have been active) whose first installation occurred through this campaign. This number cannot decrease. Installation rate Formula: Installed cards / Created cards on the campaign. Global installation rate + by vendor Card creation events Number (total and by vendor) of card creation events received on the campaign by unique user. Card installation events Number (total and by vendor) of card installation (activation) events received on the campaign by unique user. Card uninstallation events Number (total and by vendor) of card uninstallation events received on the campaign by unique user. π‘ Good to know This can be higher than inactive users in reports if you reinstall cards after deleting them. Creation and installation graph Visual representation of cards created and installed over time - in total and by vendor: 7 and 30-day periods: daily breakdown 3 and 6-month periods: weekly breakdown 1-year period: monthly breakdown Notifications graph Number of notifications sent targeting this campaign, over the selected time period π€ Account dashboard metrics (multi-project view) Total users [ASYNC]Number (total and by vendor) of active users to date across all projects.
