Create a geofenced notification in Wallet ❗️ Important Geofenced notifications are only available for Apple Wallet. Geofenced notifications are location-based notifications that trigger when users get close to a specific store or location. Consider activating geofenced notifications only during specific periods or for key campaigns to maximize their impact. Before you startYou need at least one campaign created.🔍 About geofenced notificationsThe geolocation notification is triggered within a radius of 200/300 meters around a declared point of sale. When clicking on the notification: immediate access to the card, without having to unlock the phone. The message can be activated/customized for each campaign. This is passive geolocation. Captain Wallet does not know the customer's location: GPS coordinates are added to the Wallet cards, and the phone automatically triggers the notification when it is near these coordinates. The notification is persistent: as long as the customer is within the radius around the point of sale, it is impossible to delete the notification. No possibility to limit the number of times this notification is displayed.Like classic notifications, we have no display or click statistics.❓ What are the different types of geofenced notifications? You can set up two types of geofenced notifications:🏬 Store-based proximity 📍 Location-based proximityTriggers when the user approaches their assigned store - it works only if Captain Wallet has the information in data base.Requires the store information to be stored in your customer database. The notification is personalized for each customer based on their store.Triggers when the user approaches any of the selected locations. You can select up to 10 specific locations. The notification is identical for all customers but triggers at different locations.🏬 Create a store-based geofenced notificationGo to Campaigns.Open the campaign where you want to add the geofenced notification.Click Edit template on the Apple Wallet template.Go to the Advanced Settings step.In the left menu, select Store.Activate the Activate dynamic proximity message option.Enter your proximity message.Click Next, then Validate.Click Update to save the template.📍 Create a location-based geofenced notificationGo to the Campaigns tab.Open the campaign where you want to add the geofenced notification.Click Edit template on the Apple Wallet template.Go to the Advanced Settings step.In the left menu, select Locations.Click Add locations to create the locations that will trigger the notification.
